NCS Student Project

Larry's students do a snow physics unit in the winter of their 8th grade year. The curriculum involves frequent snow pit analysis, avalanche search techniques, snow crystal identification, the dynamics of heat transfer through the snowpack, as well as a Powerpoint Presentation on a specific avalanche.
