It is hard to believe that this is the 50th anniversary, and it is also hard to believe that it took months to accomplish instead of hours, they used prussiks instead of jumars, carabiner brake rappels instead of air traffic controllers, and cotton anoraks instead of goretex parkas. These guys were stout!
