Ricardo Cassin passes away

The legendary alpinist - having just turned 100 a few months ago - passed away yesterday. He climbed hundreds of new routes, and climbed all over the globe. Two of his routes that I have always wanted to climb - and fear that I will not - are the Walker Spur on the Grand Jorasses (photo), and the Cassin Ridge on Denali. Click on this text to access a link to his mountaineering obit.
