Unclimbed: southeast ridge of annapurna III

Several years ago in the issue Alpinist 3, there was an article about the best unclimbed lines in the world. Click on this text to access a short essay on Dougald Macdonald's blog, evaluating where we stand on those same routes. The photograph is a picture of the still unclimbed SE ridge of Annapurna III in Nepal. (Bottom-line ... about half of the routes are still unclimbed.)
