Day One of the Haute Route

So on day one of the haute route we will take the ski lift to the top of Grand Montets, cross the Argentiere Glacier (passing under some of the most spectacular ice climbs in the alps), skin up to the Col du Chardonnet, a quick sideslip down a 55 degree slope with a belay, and then on to the Trient Hut.
