Top of East Mountain

Beautiful day out on the 1980 Olympic Trails. It seemed like I had the place to myself, except at the end of the day, when Finland's nordic combined junior team was ending their workout.

Stopped at the memorial to Harry Eldridge, and remembered all the times he spent on Harry's Hill cheering racers on. A wonderful guy, great part of the local community, not to mention that he was the volunteer par excellence.
