Yesterday at the World Championships

The Nordic Combined and Ski Jumping Junior World Championships are in Lake Placid this week. Klink and Sue came up from Saratoga yesterday to watch the U23 athletes go off the 100m jump. We had a great lunch, then went over to the recently renovated 1980 Olympic jumps. There were three consecutive 30 minute wind delay postponements; before they made the decision to bump the schedule and have athletes jump in the evening -under the lights - when the winds were predicted to subside.

Thankfully, before they had to go home, we did get to see one jump captured below, by Klink with his big zoom lens!
