Easy hike on a spring day

There is still snow on the Marcy summit dome, but clearly poplars are leaving out, birds chirping and frogs croaking, and mud season is almost behind us. Spring has come and I will be thinking about trail running, hiking, and rock climbing before too long.

First stops on retirement are Peru and Chamonix.
