BLAST FROM THE PAST ... brenva face of mount blanc

In 1977 I met a South African climber - Richard - in Chamonix. For a couple of years we connected for some great routes: North face of Hallett, North Buttress of Middle Cathedral, an ice route on the Chardonnet. However, the best memory was our unroped climb up the Sentinelle Rouge.
