Impossible to wax for, so have your waxless skis on. Rocks and stream crossings, patches of dirt you can cross with skis on, and larger sections you carry skis on, ice and slush, as well as ruts and downed trees to circumvent. But it's warm, and it's April, so it's great to be skiing a two hour tour.
