Quote of the Week ... George Mallory

Having read Into The Silence two years ago, I am now listening to it on audiobook ... Terrific.

In his last letter to his wife Ruth he wrote ...  "It is 50 to 1 against us, but we'll have a whack yet and do ourselves proud."
