Day 4 in the Cordillera Blanc

A much needed rest day. I suffered from a touch of Atahualpa's revenge, and so wanted to stay in close proximity to a bathroom. Two sessions of rooftop yoga. and lots of reading for me. (Vallunaraju, Ranrapalca, and Rima Rima below.)

Lucy headed to Chavin, one of the oldest and most important pre-Columbian sites in Peru. This site was constructed between 1000-200BCE. The site is still being excavated, as the original work came to naught when a huge landslide in 1945 buried the town and the archeological site.
