Andy Newell - one of America's best hopes for a medal in the Olympics - advanced out of the prologue and the quarterfinals, only to finish fourth in this semi-final race ... just missed advancing as a lucky loser ... he finished 8th overall and continues to build up solid World Cup points. He is #16, in a red suit with a black hat. The race takes place in Oberhof, Germany and this heat has two hot Norwegians, the eventual winner Roenning, as well as Northug who has been dominating this event for the past several years.
