Avalanche Instructional Tool

The NCS middle-school curriculum is unusual in many respect, and certainly our 8th grade Earth science class unit on snow physics is one of those unique offerings. In this two month hands-on class all students get the equivalent of a Level I-II avalanche training, as well as substantial field opportunities.
