A decade ago he discovered the NCS crag, he has single-handedly (with help of students) trundled loose rock, dug out stumps, and unearthed climbs. Today he was out at 7 am cleaning the crag, and when I got there at 8 am he was doing bouldering laps on the 150 foot long, 5.11 low traverse.
