May Training

Despite a busy school schedule and lots of travel, I did manage to keep reasonably fit. For instance, I did some kind of exercise on 25 days last month, my short hikes yielded almost 4000' of climbing, and seven short bouldering sessions, combined with the equivalent of six full-length rock pitches signal the real start of the climbing season. My goal in the next 6-7 weeks is to lose a few pounds, log significant vertical, and lead some pitches every week to get ready for a potential climbing trip to the Cordillera Blanca.
