What happened to the Franklin a Expedition ... one of the great historical mysteries

The Canadian government has confirmed that it has found the remains of the HMS Erebus. In 1845 Sir John Franklin in his two ships – the Erebus and Terror – left to find the Northwest passage, and were never seen again.
